Jade Porter

Jade Porter received her Bachelors in Social Work from UNC Charlotte in May 2022. She is currently enrolled in the Master in Social Work 1 year advance standing program at UNC Charlotte. Through her work at Atrium Health as a psychicatric technician, she has developed profound interest in behavioral health and in the role social workers play with this population group. Her area of interest is criminal justice with the intersection of mental health, specifically people who have severe and persistent mental illness. She hopes to continue her work at Atrium Health this year as the MSW intern for geriatric psych patients.
