Jaimy Summerlin, MSW

Jaimy earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2019. She is now a second year graduate student in the social work program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Jaimy’s interest varies greatly throughout different fields in social work. She is interested in the criminal justice system and the medical field; specifically how the two systems are interrelated. She has experience with assisting previously incarcerated individuals and training police on mental health and trauma. Jaimy is passionate about helping individuals from all walks of life, in different ways, and hopes to accomplish that in her post-graduation career. She will now be interning with the Movement Family Wellness Center; which is a doctors clinic for individuals who are underinsured or uninsured.
